Good food for colds
Garlic
- Rich in prebiotic substances that help the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines
- Helps build microorganisms that contribute to the immune system.
- Increased production of macrophages, T cells, and B cells in the body that perform immune functions

- Reduces the onset and duration of cold and flu symptoms

Ginger

Oyster

Bad foods for colds
Coffee
- Makes your throat dry. A dry throat makes your throat sore and causes frequent coughing.
- Cold medicines and complex painkillers contain caffeine. If you take a drink containing caffeine along with medicine, the central nervous system will become excited due to excessive caffeine. Causes dizziness or heartburn.

Foods high in sugar
- Ice cream, chocolate, candy, etc.
- Foods high in sugar weaken the germ-destroying ability of white blood cells that fight cold viruses. Mineral imbalance occurs in the body.

Dairy product
- Continuously producing phlegm
- Makes phlegm thicker
- Calcium in dairy products interferes with the absorption of cold medicine
- If you really want to eat dairy products, eat them 2 hours after taking the medicine.
